Henna brows are a form of eyebrow tinting that is used to stain the skin beneath the brow hairs. The purpose of this is to cast a shadow or create an illusion of depth and fullness in the area, visually filling in any sparseness. Henna is a natural dye made from a plant known as hina or the henna tree. Most clients who are not quite ready for permanent makeup may opt for the henna brow treatment instead.
Regular eyebrow tint only colors the skin at the surface, which last for a period of a few hours or until you perform a deep cleanse of the face. However, henna color can stay on the surface of the skin for approximately 2-4 weeks. Henna does not use peroxide activator and will provide a fuller tint and will last longer than a pure eyebrow tint.
We take into consideration your complexion, hair color, natural root color, skin undertones, eyecolor, and preference.
Approximately one hour
Individuals with extremely oily skin should possibly avoid henna brows. They may get results but it may not last as long.
A patch test is offered to all clients receiving Henna for the first time. Patch testing must be done 24 to 48 hours prior to your brow appointment.
